Nikki Sixx has been a professional bass player since the late 70's in the rock and metal scenes and now he has come together with Schecter to make a signature bass guitar. Featuring EMG LJX and EMG PX pickups this satin black monster of a bass is made to produce the rumble in any rock or metal act. Built out of solid mahogany with a maple and walnut neck this bass really supports the low and low midrange frequencies allowing it to set in the mix really well no matter if it is live or in the studio. One of the key things about this bass is the body design, although you can see how the design has evolved it is not just aesthetic. The body was specifically design so that it is as comfortable as possible to play standing or sat down which is a hard thing to achieve with a large bodied bass.
